I am a registered Counselling Psychologist offering compassionate, insight-based therapy grounded in relational psychoanalytic principles. My work focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where adolescents (16+) and adults from diverse backgrounds—including the LGBTQIA+ community—can explore their inner worlds. Through weekly therapy sessions, I foster healing by nurturing trust, cultural humility, and a deep curiosity about the roots of emotional suffering. This consistent, holding environment allows psychological defences to gradually lower, revealing unconscious patterns shaped by intrapsychic, intergenerational, cultural, and historical influences.

My career spans trauma-informed advocacy, in-patient care, and psychosexual health, shaped by roles at the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) and Akeso Arcadia. At CSVR, I provided psychosocial support to survivors of violence, hate crimes, and systemic oppression, grounding my work in social justice and resilience. At Akeso, I facilitated group therapy and in-patient care for individuals navigating acute mental health crises, personality disorders, and other mental health disorders.

I run a general practice, with a special interest in psychological trauma, adult ADHD, autism, personality disorders, and psychosexual health—including gender-affirming care and consensual non-monogamy (CNM) dynamics. My approach integrates psychoanalytic exploration to uncover how unconscious patterns inform relationships and self-perception. Whether addressing trauma, neurodivergence, or identity struggles, I prioritize understanding why certain wounds persist, rather than merely managing symptoms.

Central to my practice is intersectional, affirming care, informed by feminist frameworks and a commitment to challenging pathologizing narratives. I believe the human psyche’s innate adaptability is deeply intertwined with its social environment—our unconscious minds are forged by intergenerational stories and cultural contexts.
